Yes. We understand that authors often explore multiple publishing options. We simply ask that you notify us if your work is accepted elsewhere during our review process.
In our hybrid model, authors and Autism Moving Forward each invest equally in the publishing process, with the author covering 50% of production costs.
This shared-investment model allows us to maintain high editorial and design standards while ensuring that authors retain greater creative control and receive higher royalty rates than in traditional publishing.
We’re always transparent about costs before moving forward, so every author knows exactly what to expect.
The author retains full copyright to their work. Autism Moving Forward Publishing holds a publishing license to print, distribute, and market the book, but the intellectual property remains entirely yours.
The complete process including editing, design, formatting, proofing, and distribution — can take up to 12 months from acceptance to publication.
This timeline ensures that each book receives the attention and quality it deserves before reaching readers.
Yes! All titles are published through IngramSpark, which distributes to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other major online retailers.
Your book will also be available to bookstores, schools, and libraries through Ingram’s global distribution network.

Include a short author bio (2–3 sentences) and, if possible, a relevant image or headshot. Our editorial team reviews submissions monthly and will contact you within 2–3 weeks if your piece is selected for publication on our website or newsletter.
