About the Creators

Janet Popham is a teacher, author, and busy mum of three—one of whom has autism. Inspired by her own family, she created Archie to show that being different is something to celebrate! Janet lives in Wales with her family, where every day is a chance to leap into new adventures.
Jack D. Evans is a Welsh animator and illustrator who’s brought characters to life on shows like Luo Bao Bei and The Rubbish World of Dave Spud. He even teamed up with Weird Al Yankovic! As an Autistic artist, Jack loved bringing Archie’s world to life—and hopes it helps others see the magic in being different.
