Have fun while learning emotions! A good game to practice identifying emotions and putting them in context.  Due to the nature of the game, the "correct" answer is subjective, which takes off the pressure and makes learning more enjoyable for "shy" students. Each emotion card has a picture and a short description.

HOW TO PLAY:
**PLAY IS VERSATILE.
Setup:
1.    Each player is dealt 5 situation cards.
2.    The emote cards are placed face down in the center of the group.
Play:
1.    The judge flips the top card from the emote deck and places it face up for everyone to see.
2.    Each player must choose a situation card that most closely explains the emote card and place it face up by the emote card.
3.    Each player draws a new situation card to replace the one they have used.
4.    The judge picks the situation that would result in the emotion displayed on the emote card (or the one that makes them laugh).
5.    The person whose card was chosen wins the emote card.
6.    Play moves on as the next player becomes the “judge”.
7.    The game is over when someone wins 3 emote cards. (You can make the game longer or shorter here).
Other Options:
**You could also use the emotion cards as stand alone flashcards with pictures and descriptions.
